| Im trying to find out what this plant or weed is, and whether it could be poisonous to my puppy?

| I think it is a sow thistle, most likely smooth sow thistle, Sonchus oleraceus, which would be an introduced weed in Australia. I don't know about dogs but it is edible for humans. |
