 o
Steppable?

I bought this unnamed plant because I love the colors of the leaves which run from lime to bronze. The woman at the nursery said a friend had given it to her and said that it was a steppable. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Les

How big are the leaves and are they fuzzy or smooth?

I'd also go with Ajuga, but if that is the case I'm not impressed by a person running a nursery who doesn't recognise it.

The leaves are from half and inch to about aninch and a quarter. They are slightly furry. They are a bright lime green when they start and as they age they turn more of a bronze color. They also have little brown lines in from the outside edge about an eightth on an inch long and about the same distance apart.
Before posting I had searched thoroughly through all the pictures of ajuga that I could find which was my first guess as well. I do not think that it is that. I wish I could get a better close up for you to view but my camera is not great.
I appreciate everyones help.
