Tiny Dandelion?

Posted by Seasons9k South Mississippi (My Page) on

This is growing everywhere here. I thought it was a dandelion but its not very big. Perhaps I'm wrong. The flower is no bigger than the head of a pencil. Is this a different variety of dandelion or something completely different? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps it's a Hieracium.

This is another shot. The flowers have no centers. If you pluck the petals off theres nothing left. Hieracium = Hawkweed? I think you're right. Thanks :)

Yes, but you have to be 60 years old (kidding), seriously
experience does help. Patience, and helpers like Eat the Weeds
is the way to go.
