Can anyone name this plant plz...

i brought couple of spring flower bulbs in January and planted them. i got all the plants out with beautiful flowers, except this one. i am unable to recognize this plant. i live suburbs of Philadelphia. never saw any flower on the plant. its growing too tall with big leafs. can someone please identify and tell me the name of this plant. thank you..

Is the stem woody? It kind of looks like a tree seedling.

Once I turned my computer sideways, I think that's a shrub in the background, or something woody, and possibly a dahlia in the foreground.

the woody stem u see in the picture is of a different shrub. @mytime - yes...now i remember that i brought a dahlia blub too..:-)..i have no idea how that plant looks like...so couldn't recognize...thank you so much for your help....
