at least to me....it is. I live outside of KNoxville Tn and found this growing in my hosta bed. The stem is so different. Flat but still fleshy. It twists like a flat ribbon. Has an explosion of growth (maybe blooms at top).

might just be a weed........seems like there is a lot of that going around this year......HA

thanks

It may be a fasciated plant (which I don't recognize). I had a bleeding heart do that last year and it was extremely strange looking - the main stem is flat and wide and twisty; in my bleeding heart, instead of the arching flowers, there was one big blob of flowers all squished together.

Here is a link that might be useful: Wikipedia on fasciated

I too think it is fasciated...if you ignore the flat stem, does it look familiar? I can't see enough details to name the plant.

I can't see enough of the details but it looks almost like the celery I've got blooming right now.
