just noticed this growing in my hedgerow, it has lots of pickers on it and these berries are just starting to show.

It looks like Wineberry.

Looks like a wineberry to me. It was brought here from Asia but is now escaped into the landscape and is considered an invasive where I live.

Oh yeah! Absolutely good to eat. Wait until they're plump and red. When I was a kid, my sister and I used to pick them out on the edge of the field and make pies. Even ripe, they are slightly tart. Delicious!
