What is it?

Bought this at a local garden store. It had no identification of any kind.

About 2' tall.

Thank you for that info. Is there a common name for it? I'd like to look for more of them.

The common name is Cardinal Flower, but with the purple foliage I assume this is a special cultivar.

when looking for things.. especially online ... you should use the latin.. to INSURE you get what you want...

using common names will get you.. confused ..
