Remind me: plant id for this?
Familiar and invasive here, but can't recall it's name, or find it in my notes. Grrr.
Thanks in advance

RE: second plant id

Second year growth of the invasive garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata). First year growth has a rosette form.

Pulls up easy at this 2nd. year stage, but the underground taproot will keep on producing more and more. Been digging up the taproots for years.

RE: second plant id

I'd be prepared to bet quite a lot that this is not garlic mustard. The leaf shape and texture are wrong. The terminal buds are also not right and it would have flowered by now anyway.

RE: second plant id

Agree that it isn't not garlic mustard....looks alot like creeping bell flower (campanula) ...weedy....
You'll know when it flowers......

RE: second plant id

Thanks from me - I'm walking back on my garlic mustard answer. I've got what ians says is the "creeping bellflower" and should have known. I never let it produce the tall raceme of flowers.
