Hi everybody,

Could someone please give me a clue about theese ones?

1-This lonely oak which is not common to see at all in my region. Beside pictures I could add the acorns cap has a leathery texture to touch, also has that funny point at the extreme of the acorn.

2-This huge pendulous Eucalyptus that turns purple at first colds. Twigs are almost black:

3-And a doubt about this supposed Acer buerguerianum. The pictures found on the web all show much more palmate leaves, but this old specimen at my local botanical garden is labeled as A. buergerianum but all their leaves are completely different thou seeds looks the same. Is this species variable or does it has adult leaves? (or more likely is wrong labeled)

Thanks. Paul.

Guessing E. polyanthemos which shows large bark variations.

Could your Oak be an escapee?

It sort of resembles a North American Q. michauxii.
