The palm tree outside my house, in Long Beach, Ca. has long, yellow, sticky fruit growing on it. I took it to the local nursery, but they didn't know what use the fruit had either. Does anyone out there know?

Be sure to pay attention to the warnings about when it is ready to eat. It can cause real problems if eaten incorrectly. Be aware too that pregnant women are advised not to eat it. Dee.

Doubly important since this IS NOT monstera. It is Philodendron bipinnatifidum, aka P.selloum of horticulture.
