ID please (photo heavy)

Hey all. I have several things that need ID. There are many photos in this thread.

First, mystery "grass tufts." I am pretty positive these are all the same plant. They are popping up in some random places in my garden, all in pots/baskets.

Next, 2 large grasses... that I'm assuming are some sort of lily perhaps?? (crossing fingers that you guys ID them both as daylilies)

I have no idea about this plant.

Growing in and around my cannas.

This pot mostly just has weeds in it, and I was going to dump it. However, are the plants growing with the grass worth keeping?

I thought these were hollyhocks when they first sprouted but now I'm not so sure. They look like hollyhocks... but they don't.

One of them seems to have a pug growing out of it. Be careful. I have heard that one pug often turns into two, and sometimes three.

The plant the cute pug is sniffing is a Cuphea.

1 and 3 look like Yellow Nutsedge or Purple Nutsedge (same leaf blades, different color flowers; here, about 99% are Yellow). Read up on them: difficult to get rid of!

2 looks like a nice lawn grass.

4 seems not to have the right scape (flower stalk) to be a daylily. Could you show a photo of the upper part of one of the scapes: the buds, blossoms, seed pods, or whatever? And please add something to show the scale.

5 might be a seedling daylily -- or possibly something else.

I don't know 6-8.

9-10 are probably a weed called Three-Seeded Mercury.

11-13 I don't know.

The last plant looks like musk mallow - or some sort of malva
