| Sure looks like Mandevilla (used to be called Dipladenia) but the "came from Indiana" confuses things. It couldn't have been a ground perennial there. |

| I think the 'babies' are just normal growth of leaves on the end of vines whose older leaves have fallen. I'd remove the 'stringy' vines to stimulate some new, more vigorous growth. I agree with the ID of Mandevilla. |
