North Louisiana wild plant I want to identify.

Hi,

I have this plant in my yard here in Northwest Louisiana. It has several woody thin stalks in a bunch that grow from the ground and its woody stalks are pretty brittle. This bush/tree is 8-10 ft. tall and about 6ft. across. The stalks want to fall over the higher they get and I am tying them up. It is a native wild plant here in N. Louisiana.
The flowers you see turn to many tiny little redish/purple berries. When this happens it starts an amazing feeding frenzy of a very diverse number of birds.
The feeding frenzy lasts for a few weeks until all the berries have been stripped.

This plant volunteered in our yard a few years ago and I can't identify it. It is probably not a nursery plant.

This photo has posted sideways.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Jamesbo
