Name That Plant!

I just CANNOT remember the name!

Here are two plants that my neighbor has, and as a result, I also have a couple now. But I would like to know a little more about them so I can give the proper care and I can't remember what they're called. Can someone please help me out with a common or botanical name?

The first one has white blooms:

And the second one has two different species in the same planter. One with pink blooms, the other with red:

The second is Episcia.

It was driving me crazy, and I could not pull that name out of my memory if my life depended on it. I can now rest easy. It was always on my mind, you know how some things just BUG you?
