ID this Purple Ornamental Pepper

| Have a bunch of hot peppers growing (Ring of Fire, Habanero, Jalape�o, Tabasco) and also picked up one of this purple leaf, purple flower, purple pepper plant because it looked so pretty! It's certainly ornamental but I am wondering what it is (no tag) and if the peppers are edible. As you can see the leaves are purple and some of them have some green as well, bright purple flowers and some small purple pepper forming.
Anyone have an idea what this is?! |

| Sorry for the double posting. After looking up Black Pearl I don't think that's it. Black Pearl has rounder fruit in clusters, this one has (the few small fruit already out) has more elongated typical hot pepper shape. Any other thoughts on an ID? |

| I grew two purple hot peppers last year, "vietnamese multi-color" and "filius blue." Try comparing to them. "Black hungarian" is another purple one to check out. FataMorgana |

| Thanks. I've been digging around and I think it is a Black cuban or, perhaps, a Black hungarian. Guess I'll wait and see when the fruits mature a bit more but I'm fairly certain it's a Black cuban. Cheers all! |
