not really sure what it is.....looks like tiny olives on it....or berry? has been found coming up in spring...couple stalks directly outta the ground and bares these little olives?

Could you provide an in focus shot which also shows those leaves? Or are they not part of the plant?

pokeweed. / berry I review these images not at all, berries growing separately......not on stalk.. never seen them flower or have any red to them...

Do you live in western Canada...like BC? Spurge laurel is considered an invasive species here in the PNW (as well as quite toxic) and removal is strongly encouraged.

The link I gave was from BC and dealt with the invasiveness issue. I noticed the OP was in Canada, although didn't say where, so I hope they read the info.
