two palms

Hi everybody,

I've just picked up some fruits from this palm. I presume is an old specimen but not taller than 6 feet. I've been googling for a time and the closer I could get is Chamaerops humilis or Serenoa. Fruits have a very thin skin somehow oily, and in most cases has been broken by birds. The inside is a very resistent and thick fiber mesh. Pictures 1 to 5

In picture 6 I collected those seeds below another palm, but it was already too dark for a picture, perhaps the seeds alone are easily distinguish for the experienced one. Googling I found Archontophoenix cunninghamiana seeds very similar, and I guess the palm may have some resemblance. Will get a plant picture another day if necessary.

Thanks a lot. Paul.

Interesting how much that last image looks like nutmeg/mace.

"...last image looks like nutmeg/mace."

That's why it looked somehow familiar!
