Have this idea what it is. Looks like it might bloom?

Opposite leaves, that's a good clue. Post back when the flowers open.

Euonymous sp. MAybe E americanus? But that's not one I know personally. It's already bloomed. The flowers are greenish and insignificant if you aren't looking. You can see the 4 chambered green fruit forming.

It is not americanus, but I agree that it is probably Euonymus.
