| I have tons of these growing in the shade. They are a little fuzzy. I noticed one had a brown shoot coming straight from it . I'll try to get a pic of it. |

| If the leaf is plucked and pressed onto your shirt, does it stick there? Maybe Picris echioides, bristly oxtongue if so. FataMorgana |

| I would agree with Fata that it's something in the Asteraceae. It's going to flower any minute now so maybe we can have another shot? |

It is not Verbascum blattaria, but not sure what it is. As soon as it blooms we will all probably know immediately,lol. Remy |

I agree, it is not verbasum blattaria. Fata, it is sticky on the top but not powerful enough to actually stick to clothes, at least not mine. Most of the center stalks that i can find are without leaves and just a dried flower on top. I tried to get a few more pictures this morning. Hope this helps. But so far, i cannot catch any in bloom. |
