Unknown Tree

Hi,
Can anyone help me put a name to the tree in this picture. I just bought this house so I dont know much about what it looks like at other times in the year. The most noticeable trait is the cotton seeds. The only foliage is on the tips of the branches. I was thinking Poplar but I have never seen a weeping one before?
Thanks

I'm awful at trees, but it sure looks like Salix to me.

Thank you :)
Any guess on what kind of Salix it could be. Or do you know if it will become more dense with leaves, it looks like a pile of cotton right now.

There are so many willows that I wouldn't begin to take a guess. Could even be what I have all over, but I wouldn't swear to it! If you think it's possibly a native or naturalized, begin with the 25 listed on the site below. Some will be easy to eliminate from possibilities. Good luck!
