Calendula?

Many weeds can be increased by tilling/plowing, for future reference. Looks like you're going to have a crop of baby maple trees from the seeds all over the ground in this pic.

I'm aware of the plow under and get more weeds, I was just using that as an expression. I am lucky and almost never have any maple volunteers. The neighbor across has a huge scrappy silver maple. The seeds just disintegrate and act as mulch or blow away.

As I said, I'm very lucky with only a few maple seedlings, which I pluck out. No worries.
