Please identify plant

Couldn't find what I just posted, so posting again- my apologies if this is a duplicate. Plant is about 3ft tall and equal spread. Squarish stems, leaves alternate on stem. No sign of any flowers developing so far. Has a strong herbal type scent when leaves crushed with fingers. (Nevermind the malva zebrina coming up in the middle of it.) Any ideas? Thanks!!

Some kind of Atriplex perhaps?

RE: Please identify plant- mojito smell

Thanks for replying. If it is an Atriplex, I haven't found any matches with photos of species online, but will keep looking. I live in eastern Washington shrub-steppe area. Not sure if this is a native or not- it smells a lot like a mojito!!! Sort of minty but with kind of a lime smell also- very pleasant. Here is a photo of a single stem showing leaf structure better and size. Any other ideas??

RE: Please identify plant- ID'd it!!

It's tanacetum balsamita!!! Was able to find it by googling for plants that smell like mint but are not mint. Should get yellowish tanacetum-like flowers soon.

RE: Please identify plant

OK, after seeing the close up clearly not Atriplex.
