I always thought it was a yew but after looking at some pictures of yews i don't think it looks like any i saw. Also it seems to be dying on me. Should i cut it down in the fall? |

| Might be Taxus canadensis, Canadian yew. Most yews are only hardy to zone 4, but Canadian yew is hardy to zone 2; since you are in zone 3 that species could handle it. The leaves being in two ranks also fits. hortster |
