I say coreopsis. (I'm not that familiar with heliopsis, but the leaves in the photo are more like coreopsis than heliopsis.)

Hmmmm I think you are right. The leaves look much more like coreopsis than heliopsis.

I think I probably speak for most of the regulars if I say I don't think we'd view thanks as 'clutter'. In fact it can be dispiriting if people don't come back to us with an acknowledgement or further information. We like a puzzle but we also like a discussion.
