| Anyone recognize either of these two specimens? They are contained in a floral arrangement. The blue one resembles a mum. The leaves on the pink one look like nicotiana, but only in appearance. |

| "China Aster", I think that's definitely the blue one. Thanx Carol. Here is a somewhat better picture of the pink one...I think the mottling on the leaves is water damage. |

| I think it's stock, Matthiola incana. I was visiting a relative in the hospital today, and noticed that several flower arrangements contained stock. It smells so wonderful. |

| Actually, I shouldn't have given a species...come to think of it I don't know the typical garden stock species. |
