 o
Plant with purple flowers that turn to pods and some sort of fern

I got this first plant from my roommate's mom, she has no idea what it is!
When I got it, it was about 4 inches tall...in just a month it's over a foot tall and produces massive amounts of small purple flowers that all turn into a little seed pod that has tons of tiny black seeds inside. And clue??

The second plant also came from his mom and she doesn't know what it
Is either! It seems to be some sort of fern...

The first may be Talinum paniculatum.

2. Looks like (third image) Dog fennel.

Here is a link that might be useful: Eupatorium capillifolium
