They're cannas, popular plants in the Iris Family (unless they've been moved in some recent re-classification I am not aware of).

Agreed, Cannas. Love the dragon fly (if that's the right name for that one!)

Ooooo - pretty plants! Maybe a little mixup. Cannas are not in the iris family (Iridaceae); they are in the Cannaceae family which is a part of the Zingiberales order. Similar plants in that order are the ginger and banana families.
