Could be mock orange - it has the right leaf arrangement.

Thanks Esh. However the original plant didn't have serrations as pronounced as this. I probably have to wait and see.

Younger leaves are often variable. I also think its the Mock Orange coming back.

I rechecked the plant. And sure enough it seems the shoots are coming back.

It is sometimes confusing seeing so many variations from the same plant. For example, these leaves while serrated seem narrower than than the bigger shoot. But I assume in a couple of weeks, when the grow older, they'll assume the same form...

I'm afraid due to my ignorance, I thought these belonged to another plant and I deprived myself from a healthy plant...

I don't think the last picture is Mock Orange. It's possible but it looks like a seedling rather than a shoot. I'd keep a watching brief over it and see how it turns out.
