Probably not Aristolochia

Located along mixed woods trail, in heavy shade. Plant vining, with long-petiolate leaves in whorls of 3-4 at nodes. Leaves 2-3 inches across.

Thanks guys. That is definitely the native species called D. quaternata or D. villosa, depending upon which treatment you follow. Local sources have synonymized the two as D. villosa, but it is D. quaternata per Weakley's key.
