 o
6th plant ID, please (deerhorn clarkia?)

This is in an area where I sowed seeds with only pink flowers last year. I'm hoping it's deerhorn clarkia, which I sowed last December 1 (and not a weed). I don't think it's the same tarragon-like weed I inquired about on May 29. Clover is taking over, as well as 20-plus other weeds. I sowed about 140 different kinds of perennial/wildflower seeds last year. I really need to be able to tell the weeds from the flowers soon, because the weeds are definitely winning.

I don't know Clarkia pulchella but since you have had no takers I looked it up. Certainly seems a likely candidate. I see you have some flower buds there so it should become apparent very soon.

Thanks, floral_uk. I volunteered today to weed clarkia at the place I bought my seeds, and I think that's what it is.

floral_uk, it was deerhorn clarkia, the first to flower of all the many different kinds of seeds I sowed last December 1. They're everywhere in their area, even coming up through the thick clover. And what I thought was rose milkweed also turned out to be Clarkia pulchella.

Thanks for coming back to tell us. A pretty little thing.
