| Centaurea, yes. Is it full enough for bachelor's button? I wish I could see the foliage better. The foliage looks too thin to be C. montana, but I think the flower matches better. |

| Not C cyanus - foliage and flower don't fit. But I don't know enough to tell if it is C montana or C triumfetti or a hybrid of the 2. |

| I think I've seen those narrow leaves on C. montana before. The flowerhead certainly looks like it. |

| I've been trying to get rid of this perennial bachelor's button for years. I don't even let it bloom and it keeps popping up in the garden. To me, this isn't a garden-worthy plant...too much coarse foliage for relatively little bloom, and invasive too. |
