Another picture

Oenethera biennis, considered a noxious weed by many.

It's a weed if you don't want it (and maybe loads of it's progeny) growing at that spot.

Sphinx moths do like it :)

Thank you so much! Now I can take it out! haha I didn't see any caterpillars on it at all, but there are plenty of japanese beetles and for that reason, it's out! :)

I agree it's probably a good idea to pull evening primrose, but if you start pulling everything Japanese beetles eat....

Oh, I know, they've been devouring my petunias this year, but for some reason they are not going near my roses! Very strange. But this thing I really don't like so I won't miss it.
