These plants began growing and I put them in this basket, and they haven't made flowers or anything yet. Any idea what they are? The leaves are stiff and have kindasorta prickly hairs.

1. Echinacea purpurea - Purlple Cone Flower - will flower the 2nd or 3rd season depending on the conditions.
2. Cynoglossum amabilie - Chinese forget me not - an annual

Did you sow coneflower/ Echinacea purpurea? Young plants in the first pic look like my Echinacea seedlings

Nr. 2 could be some Anchusa, definitely some member of the Boreginaceae family

Yes I definitely did sow coneflowers!!! YAY!!!!

You know what this means!?!? These are the raspberry truffle ruffle whatever-ffle coneflowers that I paid like freakin $8 for on parkseed and was VERY ANGRY they did not grow...

But apparently they did!!!

I saw both photos earlier, saltcedar, and see both now. So I assume nothing has changed.
