This rather attractive plant appeared in my woodland garden and is now about 5 feet tall. New growth has a reddish tint. Largest leaves are about 7" long. I'm wondering if it's going to turn into a monster and I should get it out while I still can or should I let it continue to grow. Anybody know what it might be?

A wonderful native tree, I believe - looks like Sourwood, Oxydendrum arboreum

Oh yes, that is what it is! Thanks very much. I had forgotten that I had planted one there and cut it down many years ago!
