need help with an ID on two plants

I knew what the one with the bright orangey-red flowers was when I got it from the garden Centre but I now forget.
The other one is just something that came up on its own but I liked its leaves and shape and so I let it grow.
I believe I can only post one pic per post so I'll post the other pic following this one.
