Vinca minor, perhaps. But that does have purple flowers, at least once a year. In Maine, I don't know.

I'd say Euonymous fortunei deprived of light and thus vining more lankily than usual.

It is naturally a self clinging vine and will climb trees and walls happily. But this specimen looks stragglier than usual. Is it growing indoors? That could account for it. I'm also wondering if it is really planted in a glass jar or is that hiding a conventional pot?

It does flower but the blossoms are not showy. It will then produce fruit.

I do in fact have in indoors in a glass jar......there are rocks underneath the soil for drainage. I'm a novice I know! I'll take any advice I can get:)

Unfortunately, "rocks in the bottom for drainage" is an old wives' tale. Talk to the folks in GW's House Plants forum; it will be happier in a pot with some drain-holes and the right sort of potting mix.

It'll be even happier outside in the ground. This is a bone hardy, cast iron, ground gobbling toughy.
