| A friend sent this photo. Is it some type of Origanum or something else? The garden had a collection of useful plants for cooking.

| It looks like my 'Hopley's Purple' oregano also called purple marjoram. Not great quality for a culinary herb. |

| Thanks, I was looking on a web search at marjoram plants and thought they appeared similar. I asked the garden owner about the scent of the plant and she didn't think it smelled like oregano. |
