RE: pregnant onion plant ?

FWIW, I bought one at the Philly Flower show a couple years ago - with my mediocre houseplant care it develped a couple leaves that had to be 5' long. Haven't seen any flowers yet but I think it could be a stunning hanging plant if I could find a place to put it where it got decent light. I do put it outside on the deck in the summer. It's supposed to be poisonous so I'm trying to keep it away from places the cats can get at.
