Or if you are using Firefox, you can download the free FF add-on, BBCodeXtra, which adds the html code for you. Here's how it works (once you have the add-on):

1. Copy the url you wish to link, highlight it, then right-click on the highlighted url. A small window will open.

2. Click on "xhtmlXtra". A smaller window will open.

3. Click "URL" in the smaller window. The html appears around your url!

4. You will notice that the url appears twice in the html of that link. If you prefer to have the link show up as a description, just remove the second url and type in the description you want to use. For instance, here is the same link as above, but with a clickable name:

Once you've finished your post, check the links in Preview: if they work in Preview, they'll work in the post. But if they don't work in Preview, there's something wrong and you'll have to go back and fix it.
