 o
ID of plant?

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and have just moved into a new house and wanted to start working on the garden. This is one of my favourite plants, it looked gorgeous when it was in full flower. Does anyone know the name of this plant? I wanted to research when/if to prune back, whether to take the dead flowers off to encourage new flowers etc.

Many thanks,
Chris

Looks like an azalea, if it is, deadheading won't promote more blooming this year - it only flowers in the Spring/early summer.

Thanks Donna :)

There's just one more plant that I'd like to identify below (another one of my favourites).

The first one is a Rhododendron, rather than an Azalea. A frequently planted one which looks similar is Pink Pearl.

Mock Orange is Philadelphus botanically speaking.

Thanks Donna/Floral. At least I know what to look for now :)
