Purple flowers on bush like plants in Florida

Anyone know what these are? They are roughly 4 feet high and don't seem to grow much bigger than that...

Looks like Ruellia brittoniana, now listed as a Category 1 invasive plant in Florida.

Thanks! Yes those are the ones.... I seem a lot of them around our country club golf course and would like to plant them around the back of our screened in pool area. The height, color and fullness is nice even if it is considered "invasive" - it doesn't seem invasive like bamboo which spreads uncontrollably...

Give it time, you'll regret putting it in. Even the "Florida Friendly" that is supposedly sterile will spread uncontrollably by runners instead of seed.

AND, bamboo is easy to control as long as you get clumping instead of running varieties...with the clumping varieties just kick the new corms to kill them where you don't want new growth.
