| Are the leaves variegated? Nothing exceptional apparent about the flowers. |

| Unless flowers bigger than usual probably just the typical plant. If you are sure it was supposed to be a cultivar maybe it was seed-raised and did not come true-to-type. I see obviously seed-raised perennials being sold as named forms rather often, perhaps the worst past example was all the variable, usually quite inferior (even greenish) heucheras that were being supplied to local outlets as 'Palace Purple'. |
