My black thumb is killing this potted plant!

Someone gave this to me as a gift - but there was no card identifying the plant so I don't know how to take care of it.

I have a black thumb - I am killing this poor plant. Please help me identify this plant so I can look up how to care for it. Thanks!!!

Kalanchoe blossfeldiana is your plant. It does not look like you are killing it. The spent flowers will wither and can be removed. The foliage looks good!

I agree kalanchoe I just got one for a gift too in April. All the blooms fell off and now some art coming back. I actually broke off the dread ones. I water it maybe every other week it seems to be doing ok
