Did you sow any Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) by chance? Pinch the leaves and see if they smell of chrysanthemums.

Yes, I have some feverfew some 50' away. I let them go to seed. However, the first picture, is the other side of the house!

Does it bleed orange sap? It looks rather like Chelidonium majus to me.

Thanks lyco and carol, I believe seed money & pit are right. It's feverfew.

I rubbed the leaves on both plants. They had a both a very pungent smell, very nice actually.

I had to bruise the feverfew growing in the garden bed to get a smell out of it, but it was the same.

Not being familiar with it, I planted the original plant last year in a raised bed where roses grow. I assume high nitrogen made for a lanky plant.

The plants growing in gravel and the sandy soil are never watered, they look very nice actually quite unlike the tall plant which is 1' tall.
