Uknown Perennial

I bought a few of these plants from a local nursery. This description on the list of plants that I purchased only said "assorted perennial" for this one. I would like to know what they are because I really like them. They are about 2-3 feet high, just started to bloom, and are doing great in this California heat. Don't know if you can tell in the pic, but the leaves are similar to those of day lilies. Each flower is very small, probably smaller than a quarter. Thanks!

Looked it up, yes, that does look like the right plant. Thank you for your help. I love them!

One of my favorites, and unfortunately, one of the moles' favorite foods. They make a nice clump, and then over the winter the moles eat almost all of them. So sad.

Dzitmoidonc, moles are carnivores. They only eat worms, grubs and other soil organisms, not bulbs, roots or other plant parts. You may be looking at some sort of other plant devouring creature, like a gopher or vole.

Don't know about gophers but winter attacks fit voles.
