Are there flowers that look like this?

This was an exercise, but I seem to remember some flowers that look sort of like this. I'd like to refine it to resemble an actual plant, but I'm stumped. I know that some morning glories look sort of like this. I can change colors easily enough. I'm looking more for the shape & color distribution.

What about Convolvulus arvensis? Or maybe Petunias?

Ooh--very lovely!
You could change the colors and have a blossom of the Paraguay Nightshade, Lycianthes rantonnetii 'Royal Robe'.

I have grown many Ipomoea nil Morning Glories with this pattern - and in all kinds of colors. The Pattern is a Rayed-Star.

Thank you! I've enjoyed googling all of these. I noticed that a 5 point star is far more common than the 6 point. Any idea why this is?

Nope. But nature does love math - symmetry, geometry, more complex mathematics when you look at mathematically repeatably shapes (see fractal ferns)....

When I first heard of fractal mathematics, I called it the mathematics of broccoli. But I think I like the fern visual better!
