Hi Tulsa, no, not the same one, I bought that one back in the 70's early 80's, here's a picture of that one. It started out blooming double this year and is now throwing single blooms. It was bought as "Rondeau Sapphire". All in all I think it is the prettiest one I have. The one in question is a much deeper shade, identical to the color of Mac's Double.

Correction, Rondeau Sapphire was bought in the late 80's, (note to self don't rely on the ol' memory any more :). When I first bought it it only had single flowers when it bloomed, like it is doing now. As you can see in the pictures it is a much lighter color then the one in question.
