Hi there! I recently purchased this plant. The individual from whom I purchased it said that it's part of the fuchsia family but that it will not produce any flowers. I want to be sure to care for it properly as it has become a new favorite of mine but I can't find any similar fuchsia plants.

Thanks for your help!

RE: Fuchsia?

Looks like a fuchsia....maybe an austromontana hybrid. And ALL fuchsias flower :-))

RE: Fuchsia?

Compare with Fuchsia autumnale. It does flower. Yours has some buds far left against the white block.

RE: Fuchsia?

Compare to Fuchsia 'Autumnale" a fuchsia with a spreading habit grown more for its colorful foliage than it's flowers which are red and purple, rosy red sepals, purple corolla.

RE: Fuchsia?

Bingo! Thanks a ton to you all!
