Agreed. The green bean things under the flower each have many seeds inside. When the bean is ripe, it explodes open, flinging the seeds as far as possible. Good for a small spot near patio or mowed area, or for the meticulous deadheader. Makes a carpet of seedlings if not deadheaded.

The hummingbirds love it though!

I've never had a problem with these taking over any part of my garden. though they do stink.
