Can anyone tell me the name of this patch of perennials? They are about 10-12-15 inches high and currently in bloom with the white flowers.

I agree on the identification but I have to take exception at the label of "highly invasive". The determination of invasiveness is usually reserved for non-native plants that reseed or spread freely and invade natural areas and threaten native vegetation and ecosystems.

Gooseneck loosestrife and many other species of Lysimachia can be aggressive spreaders under the right conditions but are by no means considered "invasive". A more appropriate terminology might be "thuggish" :-) They do not spread to natural areas or threaten native plantings and can be easily controlled by removal or by planting in less than ideal conditions. This plant in dryish shade for example is very well-behaved and a great garden addition.
